Hike Half Dome in June, awesome views from the summit, amazi...

Group size is limited to 14 people.

We have 2 trips to Half Dome this year:

(1) Monday & Tuesday June 9 - 10 overnight backpacking trip: (3 spots left)

Drive to Yosemite June 9 at 430am; begin hike at 9am, enjoy waterfalls along the way, nature photography, reach mid-way campsite at about 2pm, setup camp, enjoy rest of day exploring surrounding area

Tuesday June 10, continue Half Dome hike at 6am, reach summit 10am, have lunch and enjoy scenic views, begin return hike at 12pm, reach Yosemite Valley by 6pm, drive back to Bay Area.

(2) Thursday & Friday June 19-20 Half Dome Summit Day Hike: (5 spots left)

June 19 at 7pm, Bay Area drive to Oakhurst, overnight at hotel.

June 20 begin hike at 6am, reach summit by 1130am, lunch at summit, return hike to Yosemite Valley by 7pm. Drive back to the Bay Area.

If you'd like to reserve either of the above trips, please reply and set up a meeting time to submit a trip deposit of $50, the $45 remainder is due on SAT May 17, 2008.

$95 trip fee includes: hike & camping guide, weekly Bay Area conditioning hike workouts on Saturdays, park entrance fee, wilderness camping fee, Half Dome hiking trail reservation fee.

Matt Davis-Steep Ravine (Marin: 7.3 mile Mount Tam loop from Stinson Beach to Pantoll and back, through gorgeous woods, high grassy slopes, and lush steep ravine. Total elevation change about 1600 feet.)
